BOOKS
So many puzzle boxes, so many cocktails. I’ve always thought about compiling some of the best, curated and presented in a collectible keepsake book, when the spirit moved me. And so it has. Scroll down to preview each book.
Through the Cocktail Glass
A Spirited Celebration of the Lewis Carroll Puzzle Project
Through the Cocktail Glass is a companion piece to the blog series about the twelve main puzzle boxes that make up the Lewis Carroll Puzzle Project. The book presents unique photos of the puzzles and some description of each, from the artists themselves. An appendix contains behind the scenes build photos as well. In true Boxes and Booze fashion there are novel cocktail pairings, based on the theme of the original “Jabberwock” cocktail from the 1930’s. Custom and iconic artwork complements the content, which runs seventy-seven pages and is seven by seven square in size. This was truly a labor of love created in the spirit of celebrating the creative artists who contributed to this unique project. Cheers!
Get in the Spirit!
A decade of bespoke cocktails by Boxes and Booze
There’s nothing puzzling about a good cocktail, so these should pose no problem at all for the discerning drinker with a well stocked back bar. For anyone else, just enjoy the pretty pictures and whimsical garnishes! The cocktail book was originally created as a companion piece to the beautiful cocktail shaker puzzle of the same name, but is also a nice retrospective of some personal greatest hits from the blog over the last decade. The books are self published so if you are interested, drop me a message via the contact button. I’ll add you to the list and let you know if it is available. Cheers!
